What is in general the superstition about?
A SUPERSTITION IS A BELIEF
IN THE SUPERNATURAL. ARISES WHEN EXTRAORDINARY
POWERS ATTRIBUTED TO CERTAIN OBJECTS AND
SOUGHT IN THEM THE
EXPLANATION TO SOME SURPRISINGEVENTS AS COINCIDENCES.
ALSO CONSIDERED SUPERSTITIONS REGARDING CERTAIN RELIGIOUS BELIEFS THAT SOMETIMES LEAD TORIDICULOUS EXTREMES, REACHING INTO FANATICISM.

What is my personal opinion on that case?
FERLUX FROM YAHOO ANSWERS
The only person I know who had bad luck was a neighbor to walk under a ladder without looking and he dropped a bucket of paint with about 10 liters.
He had a concussion and then hung up the sneakers.
From then on out I know no one more so as "bad luck"for the events you mention.
WELL I THINK THAT THIS GUY THAT PASS UNDER A LADDER ISN'T BAD LUCK BECAUSE THE LADDER CAN MOVE AND THE BUCKET OF PAINT HAS DROPPED SO I DON'T THINK THAT WAS BAD LUCK.
Why do you think people are superstitious?
I THINK BECAUSE THEY LET DRIFTING BY THE SUPERSTITION AND DON'T WANT TO DO IT BECAUSE THEY THINK IN THE SUPERSTITION
